5 years ago, I set off on an adventure. I decided to leave college & travel the world on a gap year.
I began my travels in South Korea & soon became obsessed with studying Korean. It turned into a year of deep focus, my entire being devoted to learning those squiggly characters & the sounds they represent. By the time I came back to USC, I had taught myself one of the most difficult languages to fluency.
Today, I’m starting a new adventure. I’ve decided to leave my job & start a startup.
There’s a few differences this time:
- Instead of Seoul, I’ll be in SF
- Instead of working alone, I’ve got my best friend Kevin
- Instead of building fluency, I’ll be building a product and team that does something incredible
The last time I bet on myself and fully committed to one goal, I accomplished something extraordinary. I couldn’t be more excited to run it back.
What are we building, you ask? Subscribe to this newsletter for updates on our startup and everything we learn along the way.
